The Kansas City Chiefs made two roster elevations ahead of their final regular-season game. The team announced the moves via its official X account on Saturday afternoon.

Defensive tackle Matt Dickerson and quarterback Chris Oladokun will be available to play in the contest.

Dickerson spent most of the season on the Chiefs’ 53-man roster before being released and added to the practice squad in late December. In 11 appearances, Dickerson has recorded 12 tackles (six solo).

The Chiefs cut Oladokun at the team’s 53-man roster deadline, but he has remained with the club on the practice squad all season. Oladokun is in line to back up Blaine Gabbert, who is set to start with the Chiefs locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC.

“He works hard,” said head coach Andy Reid of Oladokun this week. “He works hard every day at working to improve his game. He’s obviously in all of the meetings, and then I think the training camp time that he got to play was valuable for him. Then the scout team stuff, we try to — if a play is similar to what we run, we try to call it that way and run it that way, so the defense gets a real fast look at something that the other side knows.”

As elevated players, Dickerson and Oladokun will automatically be returned to Kansas City’s practice squad on Monday.
