The Chiefs offense didn’t play great — but it played well enough to get the victory. Rashee Rice looked great on the first drive of the game. Rice ended up scoring the first touchdown and had over 100 yards receiving, catching 8 of his 12 targets.
Harrison Butker continued to show his reliability in any circumstance. Butker made four field goals on drives that stalled out when the Chiefs were knocking on the front door of the end zone.

The Chiefs’ pass rush smothered Tua Tagovailoa night. George Karlaftis hit Tagovailoa three times and sacked him twice. The rest of the Kansas City defense was feeding off Karlafits’ energy — and it translated into stopping Miami’s running game.
Tyreek Hill’s first game back at Arrowhead will be memorable. The Chiefs were able to knock his team out of the playoffs — even though Hill made an incredible touchdown play. Tagovailoa’s arm strength didn’t show up in the cold but Hill’s incredible tracking ability saved his quarterback’s throw for the score.
