Some notes

  • On Wednesday, left tackle Wanya Morris (concussion) remained out of practice, as he has yet to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol. Wide receiver Justyn Ross (hamstring) returned, logging a limited practice on Wednesday.
  • Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (calf) was upgraded from a limited to a full participant. Left tackle Donovan Smith (neck) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip/ankle) stayed limited. Smith practicing two days in a row continues to be a good sign that he would be ready for Saturday should Morris be unable to play.
  • For the Dolphins, safety DeShone Elliott (calf) and safety Jevon Holland (knees) did not practice for the second straight day, though Holland explained that he’s “optimistic” that he will play against the Chiefs.
  • Miami listed seven key players as limited, including returning wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle/quad), running back De’Von Achane (toe/ribs) and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle)
  • Left tackle Terron Armstead (knee/ankle/back) was upgraded to a limited participant from a did not practice designation on Wednesday.
  • Cornerback Xavien Howard (foot) has already been ruled out for the game.
