Monday’s Kansas City Chiefs training camp practice was scheduled to get underway at 9:15 a.m. (Arrowhead Time) on the practice fields alongside Spratt Stadium on the campus of Missouri Western State University.

But heavy thunderstorms were moving through the area, which forced the team to begin its practice indoors. Shortly after practice began, however, the weather cleared. The team moved the practice session back outside and opened the gates for the fans who had waited through the rain.

Monday’s session is not open to the general public. It is open only to Chiefs Season Ticket Members. After Monday’s session, there will be 15 more public practices — plus one more that is exclusive to Chiefs STMs. While tickets for most public practices are free of charge, they are still required for admission.
