Some notes

  • As the Chiefs noted earlier, four players were held out of work to start the week: running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder), safety Bryan Cook (ankle), left tackle Donovan Smith (neck and linebacker Drue Tranquill (concussion). Head coach Andy Reid had more to say on their injuries here.
  • Linebacker Nick Bolton (wrist), for the first time since his injury, logged a full practice. Bolton remains on the Chiefs’ injured reserve list, but he seems to be trending in the right direction for a return. Running back Jerick McKinnon (groin) was a limited participant.
  • For the Bills, outside linebacker Von Miller missed practice on Wednesday. He is expected to return to work Thursday.
  • Every other member of the Bills listed on the injury report logged a full practice. Remember, Buffalo is coming off its bye week to play the Chiefs.
  • It’s worth noting that two Bills — cornerback Kaiir Elam (ankle) and tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) — remain on the injured reserve list. Like Bolton, they are currently designated to return but have yet to be activated.
