The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness), left tackle Donovan Smith (neck) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) will all sit out the game — but cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (calf) and running back Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) — along with wide receiver Mecole Hardman (thumb) — will be available to play.

Edwards-Helaire, Smith and Toney had both been declared out in Friday’s final injury report. Sneed, Pacheco and Hardman (then on the team’s Reserve/Injured list) had all been declared questionable. On Saturday, the Chiefs activated Hardman to the roster and removed that game designation from Friday’s report.

On Saturday, Kansas City elevated practice squad defensive tackle Mike Pennel and running back Keaontay Ingram to the active roster. As elevated players, they will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. Both are active for the contest.

This is Pennel’s third elevation to the roster. He will not be eligible to be elevated for the final regular-season game against the Los Angeles Chargers, but could be elevated for any postseason game.

The Bengals have also released their list of inactives. Cornerback Jalen Davis will not play — but Ja’Marr Chase (shoulder) will be active — as will cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle).

Davis and Chase were both listed as questionable on Friday. Taylor-Britt — who was still on Reserve/Injured as he practiced with his teammates this week — was activated to the roster on Friday.

Cincinnati did not elevate any of its practice-squad players for this game.
