The Kansas City Chiefs have placed wide receiver Skyy Moore on its Reserve/Injured (injured reserve) list, the team announced via its official X account.

The 23-year-old receiver left the team’s 27-17 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday after just 16 plays. After the game, head coach Andy Reid said that Moore had swelling in his knee.
Moore’s placement on the injured reserve list indicates that the injury is at least somewhat serious — and now he is due to miss the rest of the regular season. Moore completes his sophomore campaign with 14 appearances, in which he recorded a total of 21 catches for 244 yards and a touchdown.
As the roster stands at the time of this writing, that leaves Rashee Rice, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Richie James in the wide receiver room. Wideout Justyn Ross is eligible to return this week.
“We’ll have to see on Ross just to where that goes,” Reid said in his weekly Zoom call with the media. “I’ll get with (General Manager) [Brett] Veach [Monday], and we’ll go through all of that.”
