AP Rapid Reaction LIVE: Let’s talk Chiefs and Patriots

Let’s talk about Kansas City’s victory over the New England Patriots.

The Kansas City Chiefs went on the road to defeat the New England Patriots 27-17 at Gillette Stadium.

The future for Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is a bright one. The rookie caught his seventh touchdown of the season — now the all-time record for receiving touchdowns by a Kansas City rookie. Rice ended the game being the most-targeted wide receiver for the Chiefs, securing all nine of his targets.

With the Chiefs holding a 14-10 halftime lead, it seemed like the game could go either way — but then Kansas City went full throttle, scoring 10 points om less than a minute.

This was a needed get-right game for the Chiefs. Next up are the Las Vegas Raiders at home, the Cincinnati Bengals at home and Chargers on the road to finish the season. If Kansas City wins out, the team has a good chance of grabbing the AFC’s top seed.

Head to our YouTube channel to hear Stephen Serda and Rocky Magana’s thoughts on the game. They’ll be the ones talking about Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney.
