Some notes

  • The Chiefs are still missing left tackle Donovan Smith (neck) and running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder), who missed practice Wednesday after not participating in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. Linebacker Leo Chenal (illness) and safety Mike Edwards (illness) also missed practice, although their issues are not considered serious.
  • Linebacker Nick Bolton (wrist/abdomen), who returned against the Bills, was limited on Wednesday.
  • The Chiefs currently have a roster exemption for wide receiver Justyn Ross, who returned to practice on Wednesday as a full participant. The team would have to activate Ross to the 53-man roster for him to be eligible to play against the Patriots.
  • The Patriots had one player who did not participate: Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle), who missed New England’s last game.
  • Of the Patriots' limited participants, wide receivers Demario Douglas (concussion), DeVante Parker (knee) and Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) were inactive last week.
