The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Buffalo Bills. As expected, left tackle Donovan Smith (neck), running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder), linebacker Drue Tranquill (concussion) and safety Bryan Cook (ankle) will be inactive for the game. But linebacker Nick Bolton (wrist) will play for the first time since sustaining a wrist injury during Week 7’s 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers

Smith, Pacheco, Tranquill and Cook were all declared out in Friday’s final injury report — but Cook is not shown on Sunday’s inactive list because on Saturday, Kansas City placed him on the team’s Reserve/Injured (injured reserve) list. At the same time, the Chiefs activated Bolton from Reserve/Injured, making him available to play on Sunday. (who was a full participant in all of this week’s practices after being designated to return from IR on November 29) Running back Jerick McKinnon (groin) is active for the Bills after missing two contests with his injury.

On Saturday, Kansas City elevated practice squad safety Deon Bush and running back Deneric Prince to the active roster. As elevated players, they will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. Both are active for the contest.

The Bills have also released their list of inactives. Cornerback Kaiir Elam (ankle) will not play on Sunday — but tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) will be active.

Both Elam and Knox were still on Reserve/Injured list on Friday. Both were full participants in all of Buffalo’s practices this week and were declared questionable for the game. But on Saturday, the Bills only activated Knox to the roster. Since he remains on IR, Elam is not on Sunday’s inactive list.
