Madden Simulation: Chiefs-Packers on Sunday Night Football

It’s a snow game on Sunday Night Football.

STOP!

If you want to watch the simulation without spoilers, start the above video — or if you can’t see it, click here.

Here’s what happened in our simulation:

First quarter

The Kansas City Chiefs started their first drive in the wintry weather running seven straight plays with Isiah Pacheco. This opened up the passing game, as Patrick Mahomes connected with Justin Watson 30 yards out for a touchdown.

After a slow scoring drive from the Packers that consisted of Jordan Love dinking and dunking, the Packers' defense intercepted Mahomes and put the offense inside the red zone. The Chiefs' defense would force a three-and-out as the Packers' offense could only score a field goal.

End of the first quarter: Packers 10, Chiefs 7

Second quarter

Watson continued his great day with his second touchdown of the game. Watson’s first two catches were for six points. Mahomes continued to air the ball out, as the Chiefs scored their third and fourth touchdowns of the game — they were both scored by Skyy Moore.

End of the second quarter: Chiefs 28, Packers 10

Third quarter

Chirs Jones went down with an injury after a third-and-1 stop. The Packers would end up converting the fourth-and-inches play — but after that first down, the Chiefs defense stepped up. A designed blitz from Trent McDuffie sacking Love held the Packers to a field goal.

The Chiefs’ offense continued to fire on all cylinders as Isaiah Pacheco reached the end zone following a 42-yard catch-and-run from Travis Kelce.

End of the third quarter: Chiefs 35, Packers 13

Fourth quarter

At the beginning of the quarter, Love connected with Christian Watson for a touchdown, which was followed by a successful two-point conversion.

After a pass to Rashee Rice put the Chiefs into the red zone, Mahomes connected with tight end Noah Gray for a touchdown. It only took one play for the Packers to answer back with a 75-yard score by wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks, but it would be the last time the Packers would score a point in the game.

Final score: Chiefs 49, Packers 28
