Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. This week, the Chiefs take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:

Some notes

  • Running back Jerick McKinnon (groin) was the only member of the Chiefs’ current 53-man roster held out of practice. Remember: wide receiver Mecole Hardman (thumb) has been placed on injured reserve (more on his status here).
  • Linebacker Nick Bolton (wrist) was spotted at Chiefs practice wearing what resembled a club (see below), and the team officially listed him as limited.
  • I think the Chiefs will take it slow with Bolton as he attempts to return to the lineup. He can stay on injured reserve for up to 21 days.
  • After missing the game on Sunday, wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle/hip) logged a full practice.
  • On the Packers’ side, three of their key offensive contributors — running back AJ Dillon (groin), running back Aaron Jones (knee) and wide receiver Jayden Reed (chest) — missed practice on Wednesday.
  • Although cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder) was listed as limited, he did his work inside, according to Packers’ reporters.
