AP Rapid Reaction LIVE: Let’s talk Chiefs and Eagles

Let’s talk about Kansas City’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Week 11’s “Monday Night Football” kept us on our toes throughout four quarters, but the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 21-17.

The Chiefs’ defense continues to be the NFL’s best. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was sacked early and often. Cornerback Trent McDuffie sacked Hurts twice — one of those a strip sack — Chris Jones had two and George Karlaftis had another.

The secondary coverage on wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith was excellent, helping with coverage sacks. L’Jarius Sneed intercepted Hurts in the first half.

The Chiefs’ offense finally brought it with the ground game. Isaiah Pacheco rushed for 89 yards — including breaking one off for 24 yards. As a team, the Chiefs had 168 yards. Clyde Edwards-Helaire even got in the action with two carries for 20 yards.

But once again, the offense could not get anything done in the second half. That was the difference in the game.

Head to our YouTube channel to hear Stephen Serda and Rocky Magana’s thoughts on the game.
