Week 7 of the NFL season concludes with the (5-1) San Francisco 49ers playing the (2-4) Minnesota Vikings on “Monday Night Football” from Minneapolis.
The 49ers started the season with five straight victories — including four by 18 or more points — before being upset by the Cleveland Browns 19-17 in Week 6. San Francisco had opened that week as a 5-point favorite over Cleveland — but by kickoff, that spread had opened to 9.5 points.
The Vikings have been underachievers this season, opening the season with three one-score losses. Their two victories, however, have both been in the last three weeks. Before their 27-20 home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5, they had claimed a 21-13 road win over the Carolina Panthers — and back on the road a week ago, they dealt the Chicago Bears a 19-13 loss.
According to DraftKings Sportbook, the 49ers are favored by 6.5 points.
