Chiefs retire Terez Paylor’s press box seat, donate to scholarship fund

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they would retire our late friend Terez Paylor’s Arrowhead Stadium press box seat on Friday — which was decreed as “Terez Paylor Day” by Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas. The Chiefs are set to host the Minnesota Vikings in their final preseason game on Friday night.

The Hunt family also donated $10,000 to the Terez Paylor scholarship at Howard University, which also happened to become officially endowed Friday morning.

Here are some tweets from those on the scene in the press box at Arrowhead:

We continue to miss Terez dearly — and now he will be remembered in Arrowhead forever.
