Day 2 of the NFL Draft includes rounds two and three, with coverage set to begin at 6 p.m. Arrowhead Time on Friday. The Kansas City Chiefs currently own two second-round picks at No. 58 and No. 63 overall. The Chiefs acquired No. 58 as part of the Orlando Brown trade, but they also surrendered their third-round pick at No. 94.
Chiefs general manager Brett Veach has expressed he believes the value of the draft lies from the second round all the way to the middle of the third, so the Chiefs could perhaps trade back into the third — using one of their second-round picks — to have an extra pick in that window.
If the #Chiefs like the board after 58, they could trade down and acquire a second Day 2 pick. Here are a few options that work value-wise:
— Ron Kopp Jr. (@Ron_Kopp) April 30, 2021
Chiefs send 63 to Rams for 88 and 101 (or 103)
Chiefs send 63 to Titans for 85 & 100
Chiefs send 63 to Browns for 89 & 91
However it shakes out, Friday will be a night to pay attention:
