TWEETS: Patrick Mahomes, JJ Watt are not fans of the ‘form police’

But what — if anything — does it mean for Watt’s chances of becoming a Chief?

Kansas City Chiefs news might be slow at the moment, but the tweets are hot. As was apparent on Friday morning, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and free-agent defensive end J.J. Watt both share a sharp disdain for the “form police,” which might just mean they may make great teammates.

Mahomes recently Twitter-liked our post of Watt in a Chiefs uniform, and defensive tackle Chris Jones has said that he would love to play with Watt.

The former Houston Texan has been rumored to be connected to the Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills, but the Cleveland Browns have most recently been favored to land him.

Meanwhile, Watt said he nor his representation has revealed anything to anyone, according to “The Pat MacAfee Show.”

Could the Chiefs be a surprise dark horse?

In his 10-year NFL career, Watt has registered 101.0 sacks. 84% of Arrowhead Pride readers voted they would favor a Chiefs’ pursuit.

The Texans parted ways with Watt on February 12.
