Here’s what happened in our simulation:

The Kansas City Chiefs look to make it a two-game winning streak as they take on the Aaron Rodgersless Green Bay Packers this Sunday at 3:25 p.m.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense were solid during this game but lacked when trying to find that big play to get them over the hump. Mahomes was able to find tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill through the air, but Kansas City’s running game could not get going. Darrel Williams only rushed six times, collecting 13 yards. Jerick McKinnon also only rushed six times, collecting 25 yards.

Kelce was Mahomes’ most reliable target with nine receptions for 65 yards and a score. Hill had eight receptions for 101 yards and a score. Kelce averaged 7.2 yards, and Hill averaged 12.6 yards. Even in the EA Universe, the Chiefs need to figure out how to beat a Cover-2 defense consistently.

Mahomes’ stat line was 26 of 32, for 255 yards and two touchdowns.

Jordan Love being used on the running game was a factor in his first start in a Packers uniform. Love’s final stat line was 33 of 46, 349 passing yards, two touchdowns, one interception, 45 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. In Melvin Ingram’s first game as a Chief, he assisted in three tackles.

Final score: Packers 34, Chiefs 31

In Week 10, the Chiefs will be in primetime on Sunday night in Las Vegas, taking on the Raiders. Of course, we will first tell you how it plays out in the EA Universe.
