AP staff NFL preview and predictions for Week 5

The Chiefs play the Bills on Sunday night, but we’re picking all of this weekend’s games.

NFL: NFC Wild Card Round-Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Week 5 of the NFL season kicks off with a big NFC West battle that should be a great game: the Los Angeles Rams (3-1) on the road against the Seattle Seahawks (2-2) on Thursday Night Football.

Sunday’s action begins at 8:30 a.m. Arrowhead Time, as the New York Jets (1-3) are at the Atlanta Falcons (1-3) from London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It’s the first game of the league’s 2021 International Series.

In a huge AFC matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs will be at home to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead Time. The Chiefs are favored by 2.5 points according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3) will host the Denver Broncos (3-1) in Sunday’s early-afternoon games — while in the late games, the Chicago Bears (2-2) will be in Sin City to play the Las Vegas Raiders (3-1) and the Los Angeles Chargers (3-1) will host the Cleveland Browns (3-1) in another of Sunday’s big matchups.

In other noteworthy early-afternoon games, the Green Bay Packers (3-1) travel to Ohio to play the Cincinnati Bengals (3-1) and the Washington Football Team (2-2) hosts the New Orleans Saints (2-2). The late-afternoon slate will feature an NFC East matchup with the New York Giants (1-3) at the Dallas Cowboys (3-1) and an NFC West battle in which the Arizona Cardinals (4-0) will host the San Francisco 49ers (2-2).

Then for Monday Night Football, the Indianapolis Colts (1-3) will return to their city of origin to play the Baltimore Ravens (3-1).

Here are our picks for this weekend’s games. Be sure to cast your vote, too!
