Chiefs open as slight favorites for Week 5 game against Bills

Oddsmakers are projecting a close game on Sunday Night Football.

And just like that, it is time for the AFC championship rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs will host the Bills in Week 5 on Sunday Night Football, with Kansas City being a 2.5-point favorite against Buffalo.

Sunday’s 42-30 win over the Philadelphia Eagles marked the first time the Chiefs covered the spread (-6.5) in a regular-season game since Week 8 of the 2020 NFL season. After dropping its Week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo has won three games in a row, including two in-conference shutouts — a 35-0 win over the Miami Dolphins and a 40-0 win against the Houston Texans.

The odds are from the DraftKings Sportsbook, which has odds for all 16 games next week. It is also worth noting that DraftKings lists the Los Angeles Chargers as 3.5-point favorites in Monday night’s AFC West matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
