Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clarks has been charged for the second of two gun-related incidents from over the summer, according to TMZ Sports.
To an extent, this was to be expected. Clark was arrested for felony illegal possession back in June. Clark recently plead not guilty to charges from his March arrest — and he is due back in court Monday, Jan. 17, 2022. This would typically be the day following the NFL’s Wild Card weekend, but this season, the league is scheduling two of the six Wild Card games on Saturday, three more on Sunday and the last on Monday night.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid recently spoke about Clark and his situation in early October.
“Listen, when he’s in the building, he’s good,” said Reid of Clark. “That’s on his mind, I’m sure. But when he’s here, he’s about football — and trying to make sure he’s doing his job to the best of his ability.”
Clark last spoke to the media in mid-September following the Chiefs’ 36-35 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Chiefs traded for the 28-year-old in 2019, then signed him to a five-year, $105 million contract. In three games this season, Clark has five tackles and three quarterback pressures.
