The Kansas City Chiefs will try to right the ship against the Washington Football Team as they travel for Week 6. Kansas City still opened as 6.5-point favorites despite dropping three of their last four games.
The Chiefs were slight favorites to win over the Buffalo Bills but lost the game 38-20. Like the Chiefs, Washington is also 2-3. It dropped its most recent game against the New Orleans Saints by a 33-22 margin.
What makes the odds more interesting is the number of injuries the Chiefs had coming out of their loss to the Bills. Head coach Andy Reid gave word of injuries to running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, tight end Travis Kelce and left guard Joe Thuney. The Chiefs still will head to Washington — as of now — as touchdown favorites on the road.
The odds are from the DraftKings Sportsbook, which has odds for all 14 games next week. It is also worth noting that DraftKings now has the Chiefs at +750 to win Super Bowl LVI, behind two teams — the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+500) and Bills (+550).
