The 2019 episode of “America’s Game” — and another Chiefs special — will premiere the night before the 2020 season gets underway.

After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV, one question has been nagging many Chiefs fans: When will NFL Network’s “America’s Game” episode about the Chiefs’ championship season finally air?

Now we know.

“America’s Game: 2019 Chiefs” will premiere on Wednesday night — the night before the Chiefs kick of the 2020 NFL season against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium — beginning at 7:00 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Featuring in-depth interviews with Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Tyrann Mathieu, the 60-minute episode — the 54th of the series — will recount the entire 2019 season through their eyes. It will be narrated by actor (and Arrowhead Pride reader) Paul Rudd.

But wait... no interview with head coach Andy Reid?

Not to worry.

Immediately afterward — at 8 p.m. Arrowhead Time — NFL Network will premiere another Chiefs documentary: “Time’s Yours: Andy Reid & the 2019 Chiefs”

This 60-minute show will feature interviews with Reid — along with offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo — breaking down the 2019 season. Actor (and Kansas City native) Eric Stonestreet will narrate the documentary.

After these two premieres, NFL Network will air “Kickoff Eve,” a one-hour special that will include Kelce and many other NFL stars.
