Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones is thought to be fine following the team’s 34-20 Monday Night Football win over the Baltimore Ravens, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
#Chiefs DT Chris Jones tweaked his groin late in last night’s win over the #Ravens, but it’s not believed to be anything serious, source said. They’ll see how it feels today. Quick turnaround for Sunday’s game against the #Patriots.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid noted that Jones “tweaked” his groin “right at the end” of the game on Monday night. Jones had five tackles (three solo), two sacks and two forced fumbles in the game.
As Pelissero mentioned, the Chiefs get right back to it with the New England Patriots set to travel to Arrowhead Stadium six days from this writing. How Jones is listed in the game’s initial injury report Wednesday afternoon will be a point to watch.
The Chiefs lost rookie cornerback L’Jarius Sneed midway through the game due to a right shoulder injury, and right guard Andrew Wylie was a late scratch due to a stomach illness. Reid said “things worked out OK” when it came to Wylie but no word on Sneed yet.
