On a third-down play for the Baltimore Ravens offense, quarterback Lamar Jackson scrambled right and overthrew his intended receiver. Kansas City Chiefs rookie cornerback L’Jarius Sneed made a diving attempt to intercept it — got both hands on the ball — but couldn’t haul it in. He landed awkwardly on his upper body, and didn’t return to the field in the first half.

After not coming out on the defense’s first drive of the second half, it was officially announced that Sneed would not return for the game due to a collarbone injury. The Chiefs turned to cornerback Charvarius Ward to fill in his place.
