Katie Camlin — the Plaza Liquor manager who broke the news that quarterback Patrick Mahomes was about to sign his contract extension — appeared with ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday’s edition of the network’s “NFL Sunday Countdown” show leading into the Week 2 slate of NFL games, including Chiefs and Chargers at 3:25 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
As part of the 10-minute segment on ESPN, it was revealed that general manager Brett Veach and the Chiefs sent Camlin a special gift — a bottle of Dom Pérignon autographed by Mahomes and defensive tackle Chris Jones.
I let @AdamSchefter break the news on this one, but here it is! The @Chiefs and Brett Veach are way too generous, and gave me this bottle signed by @PatrickMahomes and @StoneColdJones . I cried. I will treasure this absolutely forever pic.twitter.com/RCOTRoWo2e

There was also a note from Veach:
We had one bottle left and figured you would appreciate it the most.
Next time the Chiefs have a monumental contract coming up, Plaza Liquor might just be the place to be.
