Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins returned to the practice field on a limited basis on Friday. Watkins had not practiced since last Saturday. Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill did not practice, according to head coach Andy Reid.
“It’s day to day,” Reid said of Hill’s injury. “It’s not a big tear or any of that, but it will be a few days. We’ll ease him back in. He got great work here the first part of camp.”
Thursday night, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported that Hill’s hamstring injury was minor. The Chiefs appear to be remaining cautious with their No. 1 wide receiver.
