Frank Clark becomes first Chiefs player named to 2020 NFL Top 100

Good for “the Shark,” bad for the Schwartz.

Defensive end Frank Clark became the first Kansas City Chiefs player named to the “The Top 100 Players of 2020” aired by NFL Network Sunday night. Clark came in at No. 95 after being ranked 85 last year.

Clark dealt with injuries coming out of training camp at the beginning of the 2019 season, but he still managed 8.0 sacks, 37 tackles (27 solo) and 14 quarterback hits in 14 games played. He recorded 5.0 sacks, seven quarterback hits and nine tackles (six solo) in the Chiefs’ three playoffs games, including three sacks in the Chiefs’ Divisional round game against the Houston Texans.

We know the Chiefs have only six players make this year’s NFL Top 100, so this likely means that right tackle Mitch Schwartz, who made the list last year, was snubbed.
