UPDATE: Monday, July 20, 8:47 p.m. Arrowhead Time
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire “is signing” his four-year rookie contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

It still is a little unclear as to exactly when this will happen, with last night’s report of COVID testing changes. Chiefs rookies tested Monday and will test again Thursday. Contract signings usually take place after physicals, which we presume would take place after testing.
Regardless, Rapoport’s note means Edwards-Helaire will sign as soon as he has the chance.
Report: Chiefs have “verbal agreement” with all six draft picks

The Kansas City Chiefs have come to verbal agreements with all six of their draft selections, according to a report from friend-of-the-site Terez Paylor of Yahoo! Sports.
The Chiefs have reached a verbal agreement with all six of their draft selections, a source tells @YahooSports. Pending physicals, all of their draftees should report to camp on time.

Those players are LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Mississippi State linebacker Willie Gay Jr., TCU offensive lineman Lucas Niang, Louisiana Tech defensive back L’Jarius Sneed, Michigan defensive end Michael Danna and Tulane cornerback BoPete Keyes.
Reports say that Chiefs rookies will test for coronavirus Monday and Tuesday and if negative, they will receive physicals on Wednesday.
A clean bill of health and passed physical should clear the way for the contract agreements to go from verbal to signed and official.
