NFL fans find the Chiefs to be Week 1’s best bet

The Chiefs are currently favored by 10 points to beat the Houston Texans in their Week 1 matchup, but that has not detracted bettors.

NFL: AFC Divisional Round-Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Back in May, online sportsbooks made waves on schedule-release night in Kansas City, as the Kansas City Chiefs opened as two-score favorites to beat the Houston Texans on the first night of the NFL season. Oddschecker currently has the Chiefs favored by 10 points to win the AFC Divisional round rematch.

Despite the Chiefs needing to overcome the highest point spread of Week 1 in order for bettors to make money, 88% of wagers have been placed in favor of Kansas City — the highest percentage of all 16 Week 1 games.

Here is the rest of the Week 1 schedule:

Seahawks (-1) at Falcons

Browns (+8) at Ravens

Jets (+6) at Bills

Raiders (-1.5) at Panthers

Bears (+1.5) at Lions

Packers (+3.5) at Vikings

Colts (-7.5) at Jaguars

Dolphins (+6.5) at Patriots

Eagles (-6) at Redskins

Chargers (-3.5) at Bengals

Cardinals (+8) at 49ers

Bucs (+5) at Saints

Cowboys (-2.5) at Rams

Steelers (-3.5) at Giants

Titans (+3) at Broncos
