Given the bold statements of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and safety Tyrann Mathieu, it was quite a significant week in the history of the franchise. We discussed the trio’s remarks on the latest edition of the Arrowhead Pride Editors Show.

Reid threw his full support behind the players, and Mahomes and Mathieu chose to help the Black Lives Matter initiative by focusing on voter registration, which they said has been fully supported by owner Clark Hunt, president Mark Donovan and the team as a whole.

Also on the show: an update on the Chiefs offseason and a discussion about why the Chiefs have yet to sign any draft picks. Who is the Chiefs’ most important homegrown talent? Plus, the best Chiefs thing we heard all week.
