Report: NFL discussing shortened preseason schedule

This is shaping up to be a very unique offseason for the NFL and Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL is discussing a shortened preseason, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

As the league continues to prepare for 2020 while dealing with COVID-19 and all the precautions it deems necessary, I expect we will continue to see tweaks similar to what was mentioned in Pelissero’s Wednesday report.

In offseasons leading up to 2020, two preseason games has always felt like too many, anyway. I doubt we would miss them all that much, if the league opts to go in that direction.
