The Chiefs Offence Have Annihilated Defences In No-Huddle And Why Spag's D Should Be Crafted To Compliment A No-Huddle Offence.

The Chiefs Offence have frequently run no-huddle offences and they have absolutely destroyed defensive units. Not only with the F-22 aerial fireworks but defenders have frequently needed to be carried off the field from cramping or fatigue, just absolute overwhelming blitzkriegs, destroying everything in its path (think of gassed JJ Watt and Texan linebackers on one knee slow to get up). The Chiefs in no huddle mode takes the greatest offence ever to unfair levels, first of all, there is no answer for Mahomes (none), and then you have to pick a poison between Travis, Hill, Hardman and now CEH. The reason other offences cannot run the no-huddle is because their offences risk not scoring and handing the ball over quick to the other offence putting their D back on the field too fast. The Chiefs have the envious problem which spoiled Chiefs fans have complained about too often to my dismay. It often goes like this especially during the Sutton regime, 'God Mahomes scored too quick again! The defense has no time to rest!'. I'm thinking, 'well whose problem is that'!? The Chiefs problem has been that in a no-huddle approach which is extremely efficient under Mahomes and the Legion, is that these guys often score in 1-3 plays max a drive and I mean touchdowns and lots of them, well that's the benefit, the problem is that a sub-20 ranked defensive unit has to step back on to the field. And opposing head coaches are usually looking at their half-dead heavy winded defenders and are telling their offensive units for the love of God, run the ball at all costs, exhausting a usually mediocre Chiefs defence.

My philosophy is that Mahomes going all John Wick on defences in no-huddle and scoring demoralising Tyson like quick knockout TDs is not a burden on the defence 'who don't have time to catch their breath' but a burden on the offence who needs to coddle an inferior defence that holds John Wick back from being John Wick. My solution perhaps would be to go with a more svelte slim hybrid linebacker/DE type like Clark and Queen and draft DEs who can play uptempo. The offence in my opinion has been held back by the defence. The Chiefs O can already break NFL defences in lightening fashion but in a consistent no-huddle approach where confused defensive units would have to keep playing without subs, often confused about who gets doubled teamed between Kelce and Hill and what happens to Hardman, Watkins and CEH would be downright unfair for the NFL (and good, not our problem lol). With the right complimentary defence, it doesn't need to be elite at all, the Chiefs could destroy opponents probably in a quarter of football and go on cruise control the rest of the game. I for one, am not from the defensive school of belief that great defences win championships in the NFL of the future, the Chiefs have proven, if you can't at least drop 35 (probably 40ish), you have no shot.

I'd love to see what this F-22 aerial corps led by rocketman could do if Reid gave his coked up-caffeinated version of it with a no-huddle approach, especially with an experienced and even deadlier Mahomes. The beauty of the Legion of Zoom and Mahomes causing exasperated defensive timeouts, drawing flags for quick defender run off subs, too many men on the field and demoralised quick strikes is a thing too too sexy to pass up and I for one would like to stop blaming the offence for being too great, maybe the defence should compliment the offence and either draft or field the proper personnel for an uptempo game. I don't know what the defensive line would like in such a scenario but one thing's for sure the clunky linebackers of yesteryear would have to go. I think Gay Jr and Clark are prototypical for this system that would allow the Chiefs O at the height of their glory to wage wars of extermination. Any comments on what a defence looks like under such an uptempo game especially the defensive line, notably the DT spot? With that said, nothing slows this train down, give me the thousand rocket take off show and acrobatic F-22 aerial display mixed with fireworks with the Scarface music in the background 'push it to the limit'. Let's see this offensive unit push it to the limit, and let the league eat cake. Burn em all. PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT!
