The Kansas City Chiefs selected Louisiana Tech defensive back L’Jarius Sneed at pick No. 138 overall in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Chiefs hold one more pick in this draft — No. 177 in the fifth round.

I love this pick in day three of the draft.
Sneed boasts a very impressive athletic profile, running a 4.37 at the NFL Combine. He played safety last season but is one year removed from lining up at cornerback, so I wonder if the Chiefs don’t view him as an outside cornerback. Sneed is a physical player at the line of scrimmage and a willing hitter in the running game. He also boasts great ball skills.
It’s going to be fascinating to see how the Chiefs view him, but they absolutely got a quality athletic to work with — and a player who should contribute immediately on special teams.
