[11:01 p.m.] Adam Trautman to the Saints. He’s arguably the most fun tight end in the draft and definitely has room to grow. (Craig Stout)
[10:55 p.m.] Terrell Burgess to the Rams. That’s a great value pick this far into the draft. (Craig Stout)
[10:45 p.m.] The Raiders try to match the Chiefs with some athleticism and take S/LB Tanner Muse with a compensatory pick. (Craig Stout)
[10:32 p.m.] THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SELECT OFFENSIVE TACKLE LUCAS NIANG! (Craig Stout)
[10:28 p.m.] McTelvin Agim comes off the board and THE CHIEFS ARE ON THE CLOCK! (Craig Stout)
[10:21 p.m.] Titans add some speed with Darrynton Evans in the backfield as a third down complement to Derrick Henry. (Craig Stout)
[10:14 p.m.] We were fans of the Devin Asiasi in the KC Draft Guide. He’s TE2 off the board. (Kent Swanson)
[10:08 p.m.] Another Spags-type EDGE in Jonathan Greenard goes to Houston. (Craig Stout)
[10:06 p.m.] Cornerback Cameron Dantzler comes off the board. Minnesota has collected a lot of corner talent on their roster and they add a feisty one here. (Craig Stout)
[10:01 p.m.] Missouri’s own Jordan Elliott is going to Cleveland. A guy that people were high on is going to the Browns. (Craig Stout)
[9:55 p.m.] Anfernee Jennings goes two rounds too early to New England. This is a very Patriots draft. (Kent Swanson)
[9:52 p.m.] A lot of people liked Zack Moss to Kansas City but he goes to Buffalo at 86 where he’ll fit in great. (Kent Swanson)
[9:48 p.m.] Terrell Lewis to the Rams is an extremely Rams pick. Scary medicals. (Kent Swanson)
[9:43 p.m.] Denver taking Lloyd Cushenberry is a great pick and a player I would’ve liked at 96 for the Chiefs. (Kent Swanson)
[9:36 p.m.] The Raiders doubling up on wide receiver and taking a potentially great value in Bryan Edwards from South Carolina. Injury concerns dropped him in this range. (Kent Swanson)
[9:35 p.m.] The Raiders get more dynamic with Lynn Bowden Jr, a guy that can play WR or RB. (Craig Stout)
[9:33 p.m.] Jabari Zuniga fit Spags’ EDGE criteria very well. He’s gone to the Jets. (Craig Stout)
[9:28 p.m.] I loved Matt Hennessy, but he’s gone to the Falcons. Was a strong center prospect for the Chiefs. (Craig Stout)
[9:19 p.m.] Ke’shawn Vaughn eerily similar runner to Ronald Jones. (Matt Lane)
[9:08 p.m.] Saints finally end Zack Baun slide netting a steal in Round 3. (Matt Lane)
[9:04 p.m.] Cardinals net a day one starting RT in round 3 with Josh Jones. (Matt Lane)
[9:02 p.m.] Ravens with another strong pick - not shocking for the organization - taking Justin Madubuike at pick 71. (Matt Lane)
[8:52 p.m.] Julian Okwara and Ashtyn Davis - two of the best players available - off the board back to back. Both were long shots for 96 but would have made a ton of sense. (Matt Lane)
[8:44 p.m.] RB/WR Antonio Gibson to the Redskins, who list him at WR. (Craig Stout)
[8:42 p.m.] Jeremy Chinn goes off the board to the Panthers and Logan Wilson to the Bengals. Two guys that the Chiefs could’ve considered at 63! (Craig Stout)
[8:31 p.m.] THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SELECT LINEBACKER WILLIE GAY JR (Craig Stout)
[8:24 p.m.] The Packers take running back AJ Dillon. THE CHIEFS ARE ON THE CLOCK! (Craig Stout)
[8:21 p.m.] ...and there goes Kristian Fulton to the Titans. The Chiefs miss out on a bigtime corner. (Craig Stout)
[8:16 p.m.] TRADE! The New England Patriots trade up with Baltimore to take Josh Uche! (Craig Stout)
[8:10 p.m.] KRISTIAN FULTON IS STILL ON THE BOARD. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. (Kent Swanson)
[8:09 p.m.] The Jets needed cornerbacks or wide receivers. They went wide receiver, and Denzel Mims is off the board. (Craig Stout)
[8:07 p.m.] That’s the first OT off the board in the second round. Ezra Cleveland goes to the Minnesota Vikings. (Craig Stout)
[8:02 p.m.] The Rams take a top notch route runner in Van Jefferson. Another wide receiver off the board. (Craig Stout)
[7:59 p.m.] At this point the Chiefs could stay at 63 and stil get a very good player. (Kent Swanson)
[7:57 p.m.] Raekwon Davis goes to the Dolphins. Kristian Fulton and Zack Baun continues to fall. (Craig Stout)
[7:51 p.m.] Ravens coming in with a speedy RB in JK Dobbins to pair with Ingram, other speedy RB in Justice Hill, and bruiser Gus Edwards. Interesting four RB (plus Lamar) backfield. (Matt Lane)
[7:47 p.m.] Go. Get. Kristian. Fulton. (Kent Swanson)
[7:46 p.m.] Another guy that would have been a great fit in Kansas City — AJ Epenesa — off the board to the Bills. He would have been a great fit in Spagnuolo’s scheme. (Craig Stout)
[7:40 p.m.] SHOCKER! The Philadelphia Eagles take quarterback Jalen Hurts! (Craig Stout)
[7:39 p.m.] Rapid fire now, with cornerback Trevon Diggs going to Dallas and Cam Akers to the Los Angeles Rams. (Craig Stout)
[7:29 p.m.] Jaylon Johnson is the first cornerback off the board in the second round to Chicago. Is this the start of the cornerback run? (Craig Stout)
[7:26 p.m.] Steelers are on the clock for the first time in the draft and land Notre Dame wide receiver Chase Claypool. Big bodied athlete opposite of JuJu Smith-Schuster. (Craig Stout)
[7:20 p.m.] Seattle doing the most Seattle thing you can think of. Trading up to take like the 15th best DE left when no one else in the draft was thinking about Darrell Taylor. HUGE for KC to get this DE off the board. (Matt Lane)
[7:18 p.m.] TRADE! Seattle trades up with the New York Jets, giving up picks 59 and 101 for pick 48. Is this a pass rusher? A running back? (Craig Stout)
[7:14 p.m.] Marlon Davidson from Auburn is heading to Atlanta. Does not affect the Chiefs all that much. Good. (Kent Swanson)
[7:08 p.m.] The AFC West track meet continues! Speedy wide receiver KJ Hamler goes to the Denver Broncos. They’re trying to keep up with the Chiefs and giving Drew Lock weapons. (Craig Stout)
[7:06 p.m.] We have yet to see a second round cornerback off the board. This is great for the Chiefs so far. Fingers crossed. (Kent Swanson)
[7:05 p.m.] Safeties are flying off the board, as Antoine Winfield gets picked up by the Buccaneers. Jeremy Chinn is the last of the rumored second round safeties left. (Craig Stout)
[7:03 p.m.] Cleveland reunites Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams, taking the safety at pick 44. Another player that could’ve added to the Chiefs secondary off the board. (Craig Stout)
[6:58 p.m.] YET ANOTHER TIGHT END FOR CHICAGO! Matt Nagy takes Cole Kmet after cutting Trey Burton. (Craig Stout)
[6:52 p.m.] You have to be pleased with how the board looks right now if you’re a Chiefs fan. (Kent Swanson)
[6:49 p.m.] Another wide receiver off the board in Laviska Shenault! The Jacksonville Jaguars give Gardner Minshew another weapon. (Craig Stout)
[6:46 p.m.] TRADE! The Indianapolis Colts trade up to the Browns pick to draft running back Jonathan Taylor. The run on running back is ON. (Craig Stout)
[6:42 p.m.] Ross Blacklock is off the board to the fighting Bill O’Briens. Shocked this wasn’t a running back. (Kent Swanson)
[6:38 p.m.] That’s a guy that the Chiefs were very interested in going to Miami. Robert Hunt comes off the board. (Craig Stout)
[6:35 p.m.] A guy mocked in a lot of first round drafts goes to Carolina. Defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos lines up next to Derrick Brown. (Craig Stout)
[6:32 p.m.] Patriots coming out of left field drafting Kyle Dugger as the second safety off the board. Really seems like a panic pick after losing out McKinney. (Matt Lane)
[6:28 p.m.] One of the Nerd Squad’s favorite players goes to the New York Giants. Xavier McKinney, the versatile safety from Alabama, goes to the Big Apple. (Craig Stout)
[6:24 p.m.] The first running back of the day comes off the board to Detroit. D’Andre Swift to the Lions. (Craig Stout)
[6:23 p.m.] Michael Pittman to the Colts was one of the worst kept secrets in the league. (Kent Swanson)
[6:21 p.m.] WRs coming of the board hot to start Day 2. Good for Chiefs fans wanting all defense today but I was hoping they’d catch some value at WR at some point. (Matt Lane)
[6:20 p.m.] Is the second round starting with a wide receiver run? The Colts take Michael Pittman Jr, another big bodied receiver. (Craig Stout)
[6:12 p.m.] Cincinnati pulls a big wide receiver off the board with Tee Higgins. Joe Burrow isn’t afraid to throw into coverage, so this is a good fit for the Bengals. (Craig Stout)
[6:01 p.m.] Please let the running backs fly off the board. Tight ends, too. (Craig Stout)
[6:00 p.m.] And here we go. (Kent Swanson)
[5:49 p.m.] There are still a ton of quality players available. Curious to see what the pool looks like closer to the Chiefs’ pick. Trade up could make sense. (Kent Swanson)
[5:45 p.m.] Hello pals! Day two is more fun than day one. Let’s get weird. (Kent Swanson)
