Kansas City Chiefs Tyreek Hill was soundly defeated by Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James, 52-3, in the final round of The Checkdown’s Madden 20 tournament on Thursday night. Earlier in the evening, Hill advanced to the final by beating Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward, 42-21.
The tournament benefitted coronavirus relief efforts. Hill earned his right to the semifinal round after defeating teammate Tyrann Mathieu on Wednesday.
