Charles Davis has decided to leave FOX to take the position, per Marchand.

Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Trent Green is reportedly in the running for the CBS No. 2 broadcast team, according to Andrew Marchand of The New York Post.

CBS fired Dan Fouts from the team, leaving a color analyst vacancy for play-by-play voice Ian Eagle. Also according to Marchand, the first choice for CBS appears to be Charles Davis.

Green played for the Chiefs from 2001-06, making the Pro Bowl for his 2003 and 2005 seasons. Green helped lead the Chiefs to a 13-3 record in 2003 before the team lost in the Divisional round. He began his broadcast career in 2009.
