Three Ways the Chiefs Will NOT Repeat

sad-chiefs-fan.0.jpeg

1. Losing to Baltimore Ravens-

The ravens will have a super easy schedule next year. They can easily be and should be 13-3 or 14-2 again. They play 6 wins in division with no problem. Then NFC East where maybe Eagles or Cowboys win. 4-0 or 2-2. And games at home against KC and AFC South…which is a joke. Indy and Jag are rebuilding. Houston gave away top WR. Tenn could give them a challenge, but their schedule is much easier than Chiefs. They play at NE but took care of them with Brady last year. NE will be rebuilding and not get 10 wins this year. Possible losses with Phi and KC. Should have #1 seed.

Ravens vs Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs-

We play our division which should be 6-0. The Vegas Lottery have a small chance of getting some Vegas luck. At worst 5-1 in division. Then we play NFC South which have games at New Orleans and at Tampa Bay with Brady. We also play AFC East which besides Buffalo will be a cake walk. 4-0 or 3-1. Our two extra games are Ravens and Texans. Possible losses NO, BAL, BUF, and TB.

Kansas City

Now let’s look at the roster of the Ravens:

They lost TE Hurst, OL Hurst, CB Carr, WR Roberts, DT Pierce, DE Wormley, ILB Bynes, ILB Onwuasor. They gained Calais Campbell nearly for free. Then signed Derek Wolfe for $6 million. Other transactions include Ty Montgomery RB.

Pro-bowlers 2019 Record 12.

Jackson

Offense: Andrews, Cox, Ingram II, Jackson, Judon, Ricard, Stanley, Tucker, & Yanda (And Orlando was alternative.)

Defense: Humphrey, Peters, & Thomas III

They also have draft picks 28, 55, 60, 92, 106, 129, 134, 157, and 225.

RAVENS

Now how about those stats:

Ravens offense rank for 2019 season:

Total Offense: #2 407.6 yards.

Passing (YPG) #27 201

Rushing #1 206.0 yards 48 yards more than #2 a game.

Total Defense (YPG) #4 300.6

Passing (YPG) #6 207

Rushing (YPG) #5 93.4

2. Difficulty of going back-to-back: Only SEVEN teams have won back to back Superbowls. Remember everyone plays a champion harder. The Denver Broncos won Superbowl in 98 and then went 5-11. The Cowboys, Seahawks, and Patriots have done better after a win even if not repeating always. Often a repeat can be much harder to do. The competition knows what you are capable of doing. Kansas City having a MVP QB doesn’t make the job any easier as a target.

Twice

3. Love Hurts: In the end no one may love football as much as Patrick Mahomes. If Mahomes gets hurt our SB chances are gone. There will be no Brady or Warner to save them. Mahomes missed two games with knee injury. He often runs and could get hurt again. We are already down one offensive lineman. Without Pat, we become the Chargers.

Super Bowl Chances:

Ravens +225

Chiefs. +375

49ers +400

Saints +600

Doubt

Remember this: Chiefs will be win at least 13 games. They will play in the Super bowl and beat the Saints by a small margin in a shootout to repeat.

If you think Chiefs can win it all post below…
