In a small but thoughtful showing of respect, two Kansas City Chiefs decided to wear Derrick Thomas jerseys during the team’s Super Bowl celebration on Wednesday:

One of the greatest Chiefs of all time, Thomas never had the opportunity to win the Super Bowl after tragically passing away in 1999. Seeing his jersey number at the parade not once, but twice helped make the day all the more memorable.
