Week 16 of the NFL season kicks off with a Christmas Day game between the Minnesota Vikings (6-8) against the New Orleans Saints (10-4) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
There’s an NFL tripleheader scheduled for Saturday of the holiday weekend. It begins at Noon (Arrowhead Time) with the Detroit Lions (5-9) hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-5). Then there’s an NFC West matchup in Phoenix between the San Francisco 49ers (5-9) and the Arizona Cardinals (8-6) at 3:30. The day concludes with the Miami Dolphins (9-5) on the road to face the Las Vegas Raiders (7-7) at 7:15 p.m.
The Kansas City Chiefs (13-1) will be at home on Sunday, attempting to lock up the AFC’s first seed against the Atlanta Falcons (4-10). Kickoff will be at Noon Arrowhead Time.
The rest of the Christmas weekend AFC West schedule is in one game between two 5-9 teams: the Denver Broncos traveling to California to play the Los Angeles Chargers during Sunday’s early games.
Sunday’s biggest matchups include the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-3) hosting the Indianapolis Colts (10-4) in the early slate, followed in the late games by an NFC West showdown with the Los Angeles Rams (9-5) on the road against the Seattle Seahawks (10-4).
Sunday Night Football will feature the Tennessee Titans (10-4) traveling to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers (11-3). Week 16’s Monday Night Football matchup has an AFC East contest in which the New England Patriots (6-8) will host the Buffalo Bills (11-3).
