Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. The Chiefs host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at Noon Arrowhead Time.
Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:
- Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was asked about wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who missed practice Wednesday due to a hamstring issue. Hill first appeared on the injury report because of the hamstring issue last Wednesday.
- Reid on Hill: “We’re taking Tyreek day by day. His hamstring tightened up on him a little bit during the game. I think he’s going to be fine, I just wanted to make sure that thing gets a rest here [Wednesday], and then we’ll just see how it goes [Thursday]. So, if he needs a rest [Thursday], we’ll rest him [Thursday], but he went through the walkthrough and did all that, so I think he’s going to be OK.”
- Reid added that linebacker Damien Wilson (knee), who has missed two games, is “day to day” and the team does not expect to have running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) this week against Atlanta.
- Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring), who has missed the last two games, did not practice on Wednesday. Center Alex Mack (concussion) is another player to monitor.
