Some notes
- The Chiefs were missing both their offensive tackles on Wednesday. Right tackle Mike Remmers hurt his back in the team’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that left tackle Eric Fisher had a tight back as well, so both players missed practice to start the week.
- Linebacker Damien Wilson (knee) missed his fourth practice in a row. He did not play in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.
- Six Saints missed practice to start the week, including right guard Nick Easton (concussion) and wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle).
- Both sides had players designated for return from injured reserve — and they do not make the injury report, as they are still on the list. Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle and Saints quarterback Drew Brees were both designated to return and have a 21-day window to be added to the active roster.
