The Kansas City Chiefs are back at Arrowhead Stadium to face the New York Jets after winning two games back-to-back on the road over the Buffalo Bills and the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs enter Week 8 with a 6-1 record, facing the 0-7 Jets.
The Chiefs have made it clear that they will not overlook this Jets team, no matter how rough the only winless team in the league has looked.
The Chiefs offense is led by reigning Super Bowl MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes who is coming off of a quiet game — for his standards — passing for 200 yards against the Denver Broncos. On the other hand, the Chiefs defense did not allow Broncos quarterback Drew Lock to pass for any touchdowns and recorded two interceptions by Tyrann Mathieu and Daniel Sorensen.
Quarterback Sam Darnold will lead a banged-up Jets offense, hoping to break a seven-game losing streak. Head coach Adam Gase and the Jets will be facing their ex-running back, Le’veon Bell, for the first time since his release from the team.
