Now that the Kansas City Chiefs have pulled off two home games with a reduced number of fans, tickets for the next two home games at Arrowhead Stadium will soon be available.

The Chiefs have announced that tickets for the New York Jets game on Sunday, November 1 and the Carolina Panthers game on Sunday, November 8 will go on sale next week. As with the previous two home games, the stadium will be limited to 22% of its total capacity.

Season ticket members will have first crack at the available tickets between Monday (October 12) and Friday (October 16). In order of tenure, individual season ticket members will be notified via e-mail of their window to purchase tickets for these games through their online Chiefs season-ticket account.

As before, tickets will be sold in pods of up to six seats. Fans will be continue to be required to include only persons known to them in their seating pod.

If any tickets remain after the season-ticket presale, another announcement will be made. Remaining tickets will first become available to residents of Jackson County — and then to the general public.

Per the team’s press release, previously-established game-day rules will remain in place:

  • Masks will be required at all times for fans attending games at Arrowhead Stadium, with the exception of when fans are actively eating or drinking.
  • All bags, including previously approved clear bags and small clutch bags, will be prohibited inside the stadium to minimize contact in the security screening process.
  • No smoking will be allowed inside the stadium, including vaping. Spitting of any kind (tobacco, sunflower seeds, etc.) is also prohibited.
  • The stadium will be completely cashless to minimize contact between guests and staff during transactions.
  • Arrowhead Stadium has been divided up into zones to eliminate cross-over, minimizing the amount of exposure among guests. Guests will have a suggested parking lot and will be required to enter the stadium through a specific gate based on their ticket location.
  • All available parking for 2020 will be general (red) parking and vehicles will be parked in every-other parking spot to encourage physical distancing.
  • Parking must be purchased in advance at www.chiefs.com/stadium/parking/ and is only open to ticket holders.
  • Tailgating is allowed in the parking lot provided guests only use the tailgate area behind their vehicle and do so with guests who have tickets within their same ticket pod.
  • Fans are encouraged to stay home if they are sick or are showing COVID-19 symptoms or have been or believe to have been in close contact with anyone confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 or is displaying COVID-like symptoms.

Currently, 13 NFL teams are allowing fans in their stadiums for home games — all but two of them in the AFC. Should the current policies at all stadiums continue through the entire season, the Chiefs will play in front of fans eight times at home and three times on the road, giving them a five-game advantage in fan-allowed games. Only the Dallas Cowboys (seven games) and Miami Dolphins (six games) will derive a greater benefit from playing in front of their fans.
