The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactive list for Sunday’s Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos.

Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders — who has been on injured reserve afrer suffering a dislocated elbow in Week 1 — returned to practice this week and was restored to the roster on Saturday. He will be active for the game — as will newly-signed running back Le’Veon Bell. Running back Darwin Thompson will be inactive, while fellow running DeAndre Washington — inactive the last two weeks — will play.

Defensive end Alex Okafor was listed as out on Friday’s final injury report, but was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. So defensive end Demone Harris — who has been a healthy scratch for every game this season — will be active.

Defensive end Taco Charlton, right tackle Mitchell Schwartz and wide receiver Sammy Watkins had already been listed as out.

The Chiefs elevated two practice-squad players on Saturday: wide receiver Marcus Kemp and guard Danny Isidora. Both will be active for the Broncos game, but will automatically return to the practice squad on Monday.

With fullback Anthony Sherman is on the Reserve/COVID list last week, the Chiefs had all four of their tight ends available for the game against the Buffalo Bills. Sherman remains unavailable, but tight end Ricky Seals-Jones will be inactive against the Broncos.

All other Chiefs appearing on the inactives list were full practice participants without injury designations.

The Broncos have also released their inactive list for the game. Guard Dalton Risner (shoulder) had been listed as questionable on Friday; he missed two practices and was a limited participant at the end of the week — but he will play against the Chiefs.

Wide receiver Diontae Spencer (shoulder) and linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu (quadricep) had already been listed as out on Friday. Fullback Andrew Beck missed all of this week’s practices and had been listed as questionable on Friday. None of them will play on Sunday.

Linebacker Bradley Chubb (ankle), wide receiver KJ Hamler (hamstring) and tight end Noah Fant (ankle) all appeared on the Broncos’ injury reports in the past week, but none had an injury designation — and all will play against Kansas City.

The rest of the Broncos’ inactives are healthy scratches.
