Within the final minutes of the first half, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that defensive end Alex Okafor had left the game and was questionable to return with a hamstring injury.

In the third quarter, the team officially announced that Okafor would not return to the game.

The hamstring designation is what held Okafor out for Weeks 2 and 3 this year. It’s unclear as of this writing whether or not it is the same hamstring.

Defensive ends Frank Clark and Tanoh Kpassagnon will have to pick up more snaps to make up for Okafor’s absence. Rookie defensive end Mike Danna is on injured reserve and edge defender Demone Harris was declared inactive prior to the game.
