Kelechi Osemele injured in first quarter of Chiefs-Raiders game

Kansas City Chiefs left guard Kelechi Osemele was carried off the field on a cart during the first quarter of the the game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

The injury occurred on a second-and-20 play from the Kansas City 32-yard line. Patrick Mahomes had been flushed from the pocket and was running down the left sideline. Osemele was moving down the field to protect his right flank. His left knee simply appeared to give out as he ran.

The Chiefs listed him as out for the game. Veteran offensive lineman Mike Remmers stepped in at left guard.
