Some notes:
- Tight end Travis Kelce and defensive tackle Chris Jones are both listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Kelce was limited in all of this week’s practice sessions with a knee issue. On Friday, head coach Andy Reid characterized it as a “bruise.” Jones — who is said to be suffering from a calf injury — was limited in Thursday’s practice and held out of Friday’s practice altogether. Reid said that Jones “tweaked” his calf on Thursday, but declined to go into more detail.
- Cornerback Morris Claiborne is listed as out, so he will miss another game on Sunday. He missed the last three games of the regular season after injuring his shoulder against the Oakland Raiders in Week 13. But Reid said on Friday that Claiborne has been missing practice for personal reasons.
- Nine Texans players were listed as being limited in the Thursday practice session. Six of those are now listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. Linebacker Jacob Martin, defensive end J.J. Watt and safety A.J. Moore practiced fully on Friday and are expected to play on Sunday. Tight end Darren Fells turned up on Friday’s report with a Hip injury. He was limited in practice, and is also listed as questionable for this weekend’s game.
- Saturday update: According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, S Jahleel Addae and TE Jordan Akins won’t even travel to Kansas City due to their injuries. WR Will Fuller is expected to play in the game.
