Happy Red Friday!
The Kansas City Chiefs are celebrating its 28th edition today leading up to the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. If you’ve yet to see this year’s Red Friday flag, let’s throw it to Juan Thornhill:

Customized for each season, this year’s flag celebrates 60 seasons of the Chiefs franchise, which was founded as the Dallas Texans of the AFL back in 1960.
The Chiefs say that since the beginning of Red Friday, flag sales have raised more than $1.2 million for local charities with an emphasis on assisting youth in need. The 2019 proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City for the sixth year in a row. The sales of flags last year resulted in a donation of more than $323,000 to Ronald McDonald House.
How to get the flags
For more information on Red Friday celebrations, click here. You can get yours today for $5 at Kansas City area McDonald’s and Springfield area McDonald’s while supplies last. The Chiefs say that 60 random fans who use the flag in a photo with the hashtag “#RedFriday” will be selected to receive a vintage autographed item.
