Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night. Mahomes will be joined by Tracy Morgan, Gwen Stefani and musical guest Megan Thee Stallion.
The appearance feels like a means of promoting this year’s ESPYS Awards, scheduled to take place this Wednesday night. Morgan is the show’s host and Mahomes is up for two of its most prestigious awards: “Best NFL Player” and “Best Male Athlete.”
You can vote Mahomes as “Best Male Athlete” at this link.
In “Best NFL Player” category, Mahomes is up against Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald, Rams running back Todd Gurley and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. In the “Best Male Athlete” category, he is up against Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts, Milwaukee Bucks forward/guard Giannis Antetokounmpo and golfer Brooks Koepka.
Mahomes last appeared on late-night television back in early April, when he was a guest on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Mahomes discussed backing up Alex Smith, his interaction with Tom Brady after the AFC title game and announced his foundation, 15 and the Mahomies, which is dedicated to improving the lives of children through health and wellness.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs locally at 10:35 p.m. Arrowhead Time on KMBC and on the ABC network nationwide.
